After the sauna, it's off to the island at the Königgut! And we mean that literally. Because after a sweat session or two in the sauna, relaxation is the order of the day. Ideally on our cosy relaxation islands, both indoors and outdoors.

Enjoy hours of sunshine in the hotel with sauna.

If you love saunas, you have a soothing selection of different heat oases at the Königgut. In addition to three saunas with different temperatures, a Finnish sauna, a soft sauna and an organic herbal sauna, a steam bath, a brine tunnel and an infrared cabin await you. Then it's off into the fresh air. After the heat phase in the sauna room, it's wonderful to cool your airways naturally and get some fresh air!

Because one thing is clear: it is particularly pleasant to enjoy a cool breeze on your skin after a hot sauna infusion. And then to surrender to the warming rays of the sun. Listen to the birds chirping in the nearby greenery and savour delicacies from the kitchen while relaxing in the sunshine ...

Wellness in the garden.

You can reach our secluded terrace directly from the sauna. A staircase leads to the large garden with additional sunbathing areas and also to the terrace of the restaurant area.

You can enjoy the peace and quiet here particularly well - on the terrace at the Hotel Königgut, where we are happy to serve you outside under the cosy old lime trees in fine weather. Our garden is another haven of peace, where you can read a book under a sunny yellow parasol, cool your feet in the sparkling water of the fountain and savour a sweet ice cream.

Fresh air is simply marvellous, we also think at the Hotel Königgut. Whether on the sunbathing lawn directly after a hot sauna session or for a few revitalising breaths during a seminar break. Which is why we have a terrace in front of most of our conference rooms ...

From the sauna to the relaxation islands.

In addition to the islands of tranquillity in the Freuen, we have also created relaxation areas in the hotel where it is easy to switch off. Two relaxation rooms with comfortable loungers and heated loungers invite you to unwind and cool down after a sauna session: decorated in harmonious colours and pleasantly designed, they are good for all the senses. An open-air area with its own terrace is available for a quick freshness kick after your sauna session.

A tea room was added to our wellness centre in March 2016. Peace and relaxation with a cup of tea and a good book are pre-programmed.
